I went to Amazon to find an aesthetic toilet brush, since I had not found anything of quality in local stores to suit my taste. This brush did have several bad reviews but I ignored them as I knew that I didn't have too many other options in this price range to choose from. I got the bamboo toilet brush in the mail and there were no cracks in it. In addition the brush is securely fastened to the handle, which many brushes that I tested in the stores were not as well assembled. I would recommend this brush to anyone looking for something that is aesthetic and not made of white or stainless steel.

The round bamboo cover attached to the brush handle cracked in half on first use of the brush.

The tuffs of the brush itself seem to be held in using something that rusts on first contact with water - rust color stains the tuffs starting at the insertion point.

Yup. I ignored the negative reviews here and ordered this item anyway. The toilet brush arrived in the box with a cracked cover and promptly got sent back to Amazon for a refund. I wouldn't bother if I were you. It looks nice but obviously is flawed in it's design.

I read the reviews of this product that said it was well above expectations when they removed the packaging. They were right. When it came I couldn't have been more pleased with it. The quality of the molding and the marble finish on the resin cast is fantastic. I could say "for the price you can't go wrong", but that would not do this piece justice. The price is so low when compared to what you would pay for such a thing in a shop. I put mine on a plain oblong white marble plinth and the marble finish melded in with the real marble perfectly. I do think it needs a plinth of white marble to look its best. If you have always wanted a great little replica of this famous statue in the Louvre, this is the one to go for.

My 12 month old twins LOVE this gumball machine. They are building their fine motor skills by reaching into the slot to pick up the balls and then dropping them in the top. They do this over and over again!! They also get great exercise chasing the balls around the room - and actually have loved just shaking them (some rattle) and banging them together for months. We don't consider the balls a choking hazard as they are pretty large.

Utensils often slip through the bottom horizontal space of the containers, therefore I've found it necessary to reinforce the bottom by placing silver cupcake wrappers at the bottom of each container, however, the caddy doesn't look as attractive which is no big deal for me because I store it in a cabinet. This is a great space-saver and holds almost all the utensils I use daily. The metal is bright silver.

I purchased this unit together with 2 additional temp sensors. I am using it to see "When is it cooled down outside more than inside, so I can open the widows?", or "Where do I need to close heater/cooling vents to adjust for desired temperature in different rooms?"

This gadget works fine for these applications, temperature readings are accurate, and I believe humidity is accurate too. Some reviews say humidity is off by 15%, but I found it matches information from internet.

What you don't want to do: Unpack all sensors and immediately set them next to each other to compare readings - I did the same thing and found readings on the main unit don't even match the readings on the sensors. I believe the radio interferes if sensors are too close, or, it could also be that sensors need some time to assimilate. Anyway, after some time all readings were fine, and when swapping sensors I get matching readings.

Drawbacks (4 stars instead of 5): (1) Weather forecast is always wrong (I live in CA and this thing shows either cloudy or rainy in JULY - everybody knows it is sunny EVERY day). (2) Mold display goes on when humidity reaches 60%. That happens almost every night but it dries obviously during the day. This sign should go on only if >60% persists for more than 48 hours or so. Anyway, I would give the unit 5 stars if they would just leave these 2 functions out.

Oregon Scientific EARS7/RMR500 Review by Trevor S. Schultz

I bought this product to monitor my two humidors that I have. To me, it is vital that the humidity and temp are very accurate. The temp is very accurate for the main unit as well as the sensors. The humidity, however, is another story. I have a calibrated hygrometer which I double checked for accuracy using the salt test. Well I compared it to the sensors and main unit and they were all off significantly. (6%,9%, and even 15%) Normally, I wouldn't really mind that much as long as the percentages stayed incorrect by the same percentages all the time, but they dont. I did the test twice (both in a closed controlled environment), and the percentages varied by different percentages this time. I would not recommend this product for anyone that is looking for an accurate humidity measure, as I was for my humidors.

Oregon Scientific EARS7/RMR500 Review by J. Farrell (Warwick, RI)

We have an older home that had some mold issue we had to correct when we moved in. I have a weather stations and various temp/humidity sensors in the house but wanted a centralized unit that could display temp and humidty. The temp and humidty are very accurate (I used my high end Davis unit to compare data) from the base unit and remote sensors. I have been able to determine that having the bathroom exhaust fan for 10 min after a shower is inadequate. With this sensor, I know it needs to run for 20-30 minutes to bring the humidty below 60% again. Having this data was vital to prove to my wife that she needs to keep that fan on, which she hates doing otherwise.

I have had no issues with the display clarity and think there is adequate backlight when the button is depressed.

There are a few cons:

1) Unit lacks a max/min for temperature or humidity. I found this very surprising since Oregon Sc. has this on their other units that sell for much less. There's merit for keeping things simple but this was just being cheap on their part.

2) There is no trend indicator showing if temp & humidity are rising or falling. Again, this would have been very easy to program into the main display, but I'm getting picky.

3) Additional remote sensor prices are unreasonably inflated. This is just robbery. For the price of 2 additional sensors, you could buy a new unit with 2 remote sensors (unfortunetly, the outside doesn'ty let you change the transmission channel).

It was great when we first got it. Although we took extra care when using it, after a month or so, it started to get sticky... We do cook almost everyday, but this is still too fast... Now it has been about 3 months and it gets even worse... I thought this is a good brand for a non-stick wok, but guess I am wrong on this... Certainly not recommend if you cook a lot and want a real non-stick wok.

I was always awed by the quality of the Henckels's brand knife and decided to finally take the plunge and shell out the $300 for the block and steak knives. While there is absolutely no comparison to the crappy knives I got at Target 2 years ago, I was a little dissapointed overall. The knives, while extremely sharp, actually feel a bit flimsy in the hand. I'm not suggesting one try to cut a can of beans in half with one of these, but the feel of the knives, especially the smaller, ones was a bit underwhelming. I did research after this purchase and discovered that this particular set is essentially a starter set and that there are several higher quality Henckel models whose cost is into the thousands.

As far as the premium henckels knife sets go, this one is one of the cheaper ones. They were a gift for my mother and a extreme upgrade over the old dull knives she had been beating on for years. Its hard to find a good henckels set (not those henckels international ones) for $200 or less. These knives were about $200 which compared to the top of the line sets from other brands. As a general rule, if I can find what I need from a respected brand, even if its not that brands best product, I will always choose that over something from an inferior brand, at the same price.

Out of the box the high quality of the knives is evident. I was looking for sets with all the knives you could want without wasting money on steak knives. This set is perfect. If your like my mom, and are transitioning from a dull set, be careful! After a few nicks, you will stop underestimating their sharpness.

Unfortunately they tell you not to put them in the dishwasher. I cant blame them for trying to protect their product but I cant say they are going to be washed by hand all the time either.

These are quality mats and are so cushy to stand on. I LOVE them. Why the 4* rating? If you come in from outside and walk directly on the mats (you do not wipe your feet before coming in)they will leave a dusty outline of the bottom of your shoe. It doesn't affect the mat in any way other than it doesn't look very nice, thus the rating. A quick sweep removes them! For others who commented on the "Wellness" logo imprinted on the mat, it is not very big in relation to the size of the mat (I bought 2-6x2 brown mats)and really isn't offensive in any way, IMO. Others referred to a MAXUM logo in the middle of the mat. That indeed sounds more industrial. Mine had a very small logo in the upper right-hand corner that says "wellness". The color works well in my kitchen and looks so much better and cleaner than a rug, or the other mat that sells at BB&B. Wonderful product!

A friend of mine had one of these in her home... I didn't pay much attention to it until I watered her plants
while she was out of town. I fell in love with this mat and scoured the internet to find one. She bought hers
thru Williams Sonoma. I found one that I was ready to purchase for a lot less money then I noticed that the measurements were different than the one at WS. Further investigating, it wasn't as thick. I went ahead and
purchased the one made by Wellness. I have since seen the other one that I almost purchased at a discount store am so glad that I didn't skimp... this one is the best!

Mine are now 4 months old and we tried to give them a good cleaning. After trying several different cleaning products, letting them soak in, scrubbing, etc, my mats are not clean. They still show spots of dirt and have compression patterns showing on the surface. I would not buy these again.

I just ordered a set of these glasses. They're a great size, not too big, not too small. The swirl adds that extra touch that puts them above your average martini glass.

Unfortunately, one of them came broken. I called Amazon and they are sending out a replacement overnight. Couldn't have been easier. Very happy with the glasses and with Amazon.

This is a nice looking, solid feeling hose hanger and easily holds my 100 foot hose. My only disappointment is that it did not come with any hardware for hanging it and I had to hunt up some screws that were large enough to support the weight of the hose and hanger. I found some that were adequate, but still looking for the right support hardware that is a better fit. I would recommend the hanger other than the lack of hardware.
