I have been using this sleeve for about nine months now and I like it a lot. Why?

- I travel quite frequently and this case makes me feel assured that nothing will happen to my laptop because it is so sturdy

- The top zip allows for such easy access that this case LIVES in my backpack

- I don't have to constantly zip and unzip the case while it's in my bag because of the inner protective lips on the case. It makes it very convenient.

- I can still fit it into a large purse.

- The design is cute.

Macbook air fits loosely in this sleeve. It is not specifically designed for macbook air. It should be advertised as a general sleeve for ultra books, so i highly recommend you not to buy this one. If i had time, I would definitely return it.
I just don't see the point of thick foam, okay foam is good for protection, but it is way too thick.

I'm very pleased with my purchase, the colors are pretty and fun enough to be girly, but muted enough to be professional and mature. It feels sturdy and substantial, even the zipper pull (a notorious weak spot in many sleeves) is strong. The material is like ultra dense memory foam. If you lay the sleeve down on a hard surface and strike it (like knocking on a door), it almost acts like a a solid surface. It only leaves a temporary indentation if you slowly press down upon it. Because it is a vertical sleeve, it's easy to connect the charger without removing the case, but because it is a single-zipper design, you'll have to position your MacBook Air correctly. The front of the case is indistinguishable from the back (except for the zipper's direction). It's thicker and more rigid than a similar sleeve I had for my previous MacBook, and I appreciate the extra protection.
